Garden Club

The New City School Garden Club was founded by a dedicated group of parents in order to support our teachers and students in a "seed to table" experience. This group has been instrumental in designing, constructing and planting the vegetable garden located near our athletic field. The Garden Club partners with teachers, students and interested parents in providing learning experiences such at starting seeds, transplanting, tending the garden, and harvesting crops. Several Garden Markets are held throughout the year to sell vegetables; extra produce is also donated to local food pantries. In addition to the vegetable garden, the Garden Club has planted a pollinator garden on the school grounds with native plants from Missouri.
