What words best describe you?
Passionate, dedicated, focused.
How long have you been at New City School and what did you do before coming here?
This is my first year at New City; previously I worked for Webster Groves and the Ferguson-Florissant School Districts.
Tell us a bit about yourself.
I grew up in St. Louis, and am the mother of two: one boy and one girl. I am a golfer (in a former life), an avid reader, and enjoy all sorts of crafts, such as scrapbooking or sewing. [The latter I might be a bit] horrible at it but still love it.
What do you like to do when you're not at New City?
I like to spend time with my family and friends and read…in my fantasy life prepare to play for the LPGA.
What did six-year-old Liz want to be when she grew up?
What is your ideal vacation?
Reading on a beach (with no wind, the blowing sand interferes with my reading).
What is something that most people don't know about you?
Wonder Woman was my hero growing up.
What else do you want people to know?
New City has been a wonderful and powerful place to teach children. I feel so fortunate to work at a school with such a powerful mission and philosophy, with colleagues who are so dedicated to their craft. I love New City School!
