Living Museum is History Coming to Life!

Our fourth graders participate in the "Living Museum" each year. Students choose a historical figure - living or dead - that interests them and prepare a live biographical presentation, including costumes and props! On Living Museum day, everyone is invited to come and see the museum come alive and listen to each student's presentation. Students tell above their lives (really, the lives of the historical figure they have studied) and invite the listeners to ask questions. It's a wonderful way for children to learn about famous people and how they've made a difference in the world, while learning the concept of biography. The kids worked hard and it shows! Everyone learned a lot and used many of their intelligences to make it happen.
