6th Grade Camping at Land for Learning!

6th grade spent three days and two nights at Land for Learning in Carbondale, IL. The focus for the three days was environmental education, and students focused on such issues such as water usage, wasteful packaging in lunches, the use of recyclables around the home, and more! The group completed team-building activities, as well as hiked, sketched, investigated water ecology, canoed, prowled for owls, and spent lots of time building a sense of community with one another. The trip was a great way to strengthen everyone's interpersonal and naturalist intelligences, among others! Enjoy a slideshow below:
