We understand that this summer will be different than others. While New City summer camp is proceeding with a small number of campers, many other camps have closed and there are limited opportunities for children. As a reminder, we are putting together some virtual summer academic enrichment opportunities for rising 1st-6th Grade students, with no associated expense. During the month of July, one virtual class or suggested activities will be offered for approximately an hour a day each week. The first week will be focused on literacy; the second week, social studies integrated with music; the third week, math; and the final week, art studio. Please know, these enrichment opportunities are not summer school! These are purely optional classes that are meant to engage children through their multiple intelligences during the summer. The classes will be led by some of our faculty, and we will send you more details soon.
