New City School students have been busy in the new Tom Hoerr Innovation Lab!

4th Graders created a cardboard community where each structure had to have a moving part, something from the 3D laser cutter, and something from the 3D printer:

4/5s worked together to make delicious pumpkin bread in the kitchen:

5th Grade used the 3D laser cutter to make magnets for their lockers with words and phrases to reinforce the personal intelligences and Rules to Live By.

Music Specialist Brian showed off some of his other talents and gave New City@Home students a pasta-making demonstration—some even followed along from their own kitchens!

We can't wait to see what else our students come up with in this phenomenal new classroom!
