Joggin' Your Noggin Trivia Night

Hosted by beloved New City School Librarian and trivia expert extraordinaire, Joe Corbett, this tradition is a community favorite benefitting the New City School library and literacy programs.

Thank You for an Incredible Trivia Night!
What a night! Thank you to everyone who supported the 22nd Annual New City School Trivia Night. Nearly 300 parents, alumni, past parents, grandparents, faculty, staff, and friends gathered on Saturday night at Crossroads College Prep for an incredibly fun and lively evening.
 
 
And wow! Did you all deliver on this year’s TV show theme! The costumes and table décor were outstanding. This community never disappoints when it comes to creativity, and this year’s lineup had it all! Yellowstone, Saturday Night Live, The Price is Right, Arrested Development, The X Files, Heated Rivalry, The Great British Bake Off, Stranger Things, The White Lotus, Survivor, The Bear, The O.C., and more. Every corner of the room brought something different and it made the night even more fun and memorable.
 
A very special thank you to Joe Corbett for his 22nd year as our Trivia Leader. We are incredibly grateful for the time, creativity, and energy he puts into creating and leading such an engaging event year after year (and keeping us all on our toes!).
 
We also extend sincere appreciation to our event sponsors, raffle item donors, as well as to our Grade Level Art Project Coordinators.
 
This event would not be possible without the many dedicated volunteers who made it all happen behind the scenes. We are especially grateful to Karl Aufenthie, Peter Ervin, Jill Jasper, Chuck Lombardo, Falon Montroy, Erin Polakoff, Jess Pittman, Sonia Simons, and Angela Webster for their support with planning and event operations; Janine Gorrell and Jonelle Harris for assisting at check-in; and our incredible judges Sophie Cohen '14, Kate Corbett, Meg Corbett '14, Peter Ervin, Claire Guest '15, Jill Jasper, Madison McGuinness, Mark Norwood, Beth Obertino, and Angela Webster, who helped keep the competition fair. A special thank you as well to Riley Corbett '07 who ensured accurate scoring throughout the evening. We are also grateful to our young alumni and student volunteers, who brought enthusiasm and helping hands to every corner of the room. Thank you for your time, spirit, and commitment to making the night such a success!

While the competition was fierce, the biggest winner of the night was our New City School community. Thanks to your generosity, nearly $17,000 was raised in support of our library and literacy programs.
