What is the New City Fund?
The New City Fund is an investment in excellence—an investment that has a direct impact on what makes New City School the special place it is – a place that considers the needs of children first, is built on a commitment to diversity, and that brings children, parents, and teachers together in a community of joyful learning. As the school’s top fundraising priority, the New City Fund is an essential philanthropic component that supports the school’s operating budget, has an immediate impact on the life at New City, and provides for every aspect of the New City School experience. It is at the center of all giving initiatives and allows us to bridge the gap between tuition and the true cost of a New City School experience.
The New City Fund is the one campaign we ask everyone to support each year. Tax-deductible contributions – no matter the size – are used in the school year they are received and touch almost everything at the school. These contributions help maintain our building, provide technology and equipment in classrooms, support teachers’ professional development, and so much more.
Giving to the New City Fund signifies a powerful vote of confidence in our school and community and makes it possible for us to fulfill our mission.
