At New City School, community is more than just a collection of students, families, educators, and neighbors.
We strive to foster a strong sense of belonging for children and grown-ups through initiatives such as fun activities for the whole family, local volunteering opportunities through the Social Action Committee, and guest speakers and continuing education events for parents and caregivers. There are always opportunities to learn, grow, and connect!

New City's Response to the 2025 Tornado
On May 16, 2025, New City School was in the path of an EF3 tornado that struck the St. Louis area. We were fortunate that all faculty, staff, and students remained safe during the storm, and we are incredibly proud of how our school community came together with strength, care, and courage.
