Saturday Sneak Peek is a kid-friendly Open House that gives families a chance to explore New City School together. Visit classrooms and sample some of the engaging learning experiences offered at New City. This event is designed for parents/caregivers to attend with their children.

Tuesday, October 20, 9:00 AM: Get to Know New City Coffee and Tour
Drop by New City School for an engaging morning visit. Join us for coffee and conversation, hear about our curriculum and community from Head of School Alexis Wright, and take a tour of our historic school. This event is geared towards grown-ups, but children are welcome to attend.

Saturday, November 7, 10:00 AM: Open House
We hope you’ll visit New City School for our annual Open House! Take a closer look at our newly reimagined and renovated Early Childhood classrooms and connect with faculty, current families, and alumni. Learn about the admissions process, take a guided tour, and discover our curriculum and community with informative choice sessions. This event is designed for grown-ups, although children are welcome to attend (childcare will be available).

2027-2028 Admissions: Important Dates

  • Friday, January 29, 2027: Admissions Applications Due
  • Monday, February 1, 2027: Variable Tuition Applications Due (if applicable)
  • Friday, March 12, 2027: Admissions Decisions Shared
  • Friday, April 2, 2027: Enrollment Contracts Due
Applications submitted after January 29, 2027, are reviewed on a rolling basis, space permitting. Please contact us prior to submitting an application after the deadline.
