New City School offers three tuition payment plan options:

A 10% deposit is due at the time of enrollment.
Variable Tuition at New City School
Does independent school tuition seem out of reach? Our Variable Tuition program helps to support families at different income levels. Optional Programming
Early Care & Extended Day
At New City School we recognize that an 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM day can be inconvenient for many families. Therefore, care is provided starting at 7:00 AM and continues after school until 6:00 PM.
During Early Care (7:00 AM until 8:30 AM), students enjoy recess time before the start of the school day. This gives families the flexibility needed for varied drop-off times in the morning. There is no charge for this coverage.
Our regular Extended Day program includes snack, recess, study hall, and planned activities in a low-key, but structured environment. In addition, Talents Classes are offered during this time. This after-school time gives our students the opportunity to try new things, express their creativity, work for an important cause and to exercise all of their multiple intelligences. Whether you need full-time after-care or just a day here or there, New City School Extended Day can meet your family's needs!

Extended Day Everyday Package (3:30-6:00 PM): $340/month
If you are not registered for an Extended Day Everyday Plan, drop-in rates will apply for any use of Extended Day. The drop-in rate for 2025-2026 school year is $8 per 30 minutes, with the billing beginning at 3:30 PM. We offer a grace period with no charge for families who are able to pick up after 3:30 PM and before 3:45 PM.
Talents Classes
Talents Classes and clubs provide the opportunity for our students to explore new activities and skills while interacting with like-minded students from different grade levels outside of the regular school day. Pricing varies by class. Learn more about our Talents Classes and Clubs.
Sports
New City School offers seasonal intramural after-school soccer, basketball, and t-ball/softball with a weekly practice and games on the weekend. The fee for most sports programs is $85, which includes uniform rental, trophy, league fee, team equipment, and photo. Learn more about sports at New City.
No School At School & Break Camps
Break Camps and No School At School (NSAS) days provide care for current students when school is closed for parent/teacher conferences, teacher in-service days, and during Winter and Spring Breaks. For the 2025-2026 school year, NSAS and break camps cost $83/day, with discounts available for multi-day packages.

Families who participate in our Variable Tuition program receive equivalent support for Extended Day and Summer Camp, and a 25% discount on Talents Classes and Sports.
