PARENTS' ORGANIZATION

The New City School Parents' Organization is a great way to get involved at New City! Each year the Parents' Organization sponsors social events for families including:

• Fall Family Festival and Chili Cook-off in October
• Ice skating party in January
• Pen Pal program and breakfast in February
• Movie night in April
• School picnic in May

In addition, the Parents' Organization organizes teacher appreciation events to bring food on the evenings when teachers stay late for parent-teacher conferences, and hosts a teacher appreciation luncheon on the last day of school each year.

To fund its activities, the Parents' Organization coordinates the sale of Sally Foster gift wrap in the fall and sells clothing and items with the New City School logo throughout the year. Money raised through these activities also provides funding for sports uniforms and class trips.
