New City School

New City School is an independent (private) school, enrolling approximately 350 students from age three through grade six. We pride ourselves on providing an education that prepares children to succeed in the world. To do this, we provide a unique combination of three essential components: exceptional academic preparation, an intentional focus on the personal intelligences (sometimes called "emotional intelligence"),and preparation for success in a diverse world. Each year nearly 300 educators from across the United States and around the world visit New City School to observe the extraordinary teaching and learning that happens here every day.
