Financial Aid
One of the founding premises of New City School in 1969, was that all children benefit from learning in a diverse setting. As one piece of that diversity, New City School has, since its founding, been committed to providing a significant amount of need-based financial aid. We have a dedicated endowment fund for financial aid, and all families support financial aid through tuition, our annual giving campaign, and other fund raising events. For the 2006-07 school year, more than $600,000 in need-based financial aid was awarded. Thirty percent of New City School students – students of all races – receive need-based aid.
Financial Aid Application Process
To apply for Financial Aid:
Request a Financial Aid Packet from the School by calling 314-361-6411.
Complete a PFS form and return it to the School and Student Scholarship Service by January 15, 2008.
Complete the New City School Financial Aid Form and return it to the school,“Attention Betsy Blankenship,” by February 15, 2008.
Copies of completed tax returns must also be submitted before a final decision can be made.
