FINANCIAL AID ENDOWMENTThe New City School financial aid endowment will provide nearly $185,000 toward the more than $600,000 awarded in need-based financial aid in the 2007-08 school year. The endowment is restricted to financial aid because New City School was founded on the principle that children of different socio-economic circumstances can and should learn together. This is a founding principle and an integral component of the New City School educational experience. While 30% of children - children of all races - receive financial aid, we believe that every child benefits from its availability. The financial aid endowment is currently valued at approximately $3.8 million.Gifts to the Financial Aid Endowment can be made at any time in any amount.Endowed ScholarshipsContributions of $100,000 or more establish endowed scholarships.
